Slow Sundays connect individuals in our community through the fibre arts.

We will be hosting structured classes on the last Sunday of every month (12pm–4pm) to introduce a fibre art medium or technique to the public. Connecting knowledgeable, passionate, practising artists from the Sunshine Coast with residents and visitors alike. These afternoons will benefit our community by enriching the lives of the participants and connecting them to passionate, practicing individuals and other like-minded individuals, thereby building community here on the sunshine coast and beyond through the network of the fibre arts. This program allows for a novice or beginner to gain experience in a particular skill or medium from a practising local expert. It is with heartfelt thanks to the generosity and support of the Sunshine Coast Credit Union, we have been able to expand our Slow Sunday circles.

On the other Sundays in the month (12pm–4pm), we host a free to all social circle that is led by the individuals bringing their own crafting/hand projects. This is an opportunity to gather, socialize and share knowledge with others. No registration is needed for these, everyone is more than welcome to join us with your projects of choice to work on in the circle.
