The vast world of Twill weaves will be explored in this 2-day workshop. Each weaver will set up and weave a 4 or 8-shaft Twill gamp on their own table loom. We will develop an understanding of the four basic twill types: Straight, Point, Extended Point, and Broken twill on 4 and 8 shafts. Many drafts for future use will be provided in these four categories. This workshop will provide a good foundation for understanding and weaving Twills and introduce some interesting variations of the structure.
