Sheleigh McCulloch was born and raised in the West Kootenays in British Columbia. She has been practicing fibre arts for the better part of 14 years, beginning with spinning and crochet, then moving on to knitting, weaving, and felting. She is passionate about keeping old crafts alive and sharing them with others. She takes inspiration from the wide ranging geography found in her home province.

She currently lives in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia.
