If you already have a basic knowledge of how to monoprint with a gel plate and want to stretch your gel printing skills a little further, this class is for you. We will cover many advanced methods of using stencils and masks, registering multiple layers, building a composition and using unusual tools. Jennifer will bring many examples of what can be done with your fabulous printed papers – cards, covered journals or small art pieces for the wall. Students will need to bring their own gel plate, paper and a small selection of acrylic paints (a materials list will be provided). Jennifer will supply lots of extra texture items, stencils, stamps, paint colours and a sheet of sticky-back foam for making stamps.
