Are you a new spinner who wants some more instruction on how to make yarn? Have you been wondering what the big deal is about spinning, but maybe don’t want to invest in a wheel just yet? This Slow Sunday at FibreWorks Studio and Gallery is just the ticket! Join Master Spinner Vanessa Bjerreskov for four hours of learning the basics of spinning, including: how twist works; the mechanics of different spinning tools; evaluating different fibres; different ways to approach learning to spin; and as many answers as you have questions!

If you have a wheel or spindle already, bring it with you to the class, but you will receive a quality hand-turned spindle as part of your materials package, and will be able to try out different wheels at the workshop.
