The smell of wood smoke is in the air and we have already had our first snow of the season! It’s time to curl up with a good podcast or playlist, some fibre. . .  a cup of your choice and relax into the quiet, contemplative season on the coast. The Gallery is now open by appointment until April, please call 604-883-2380 to make sure either Yvonne or Alexis are available to show you the collection from local artists we have over winter.

The Studio will be hosting Weaver’s Circle led by the talented Mary Bentley every Wednesday from 9:30 to 3:30 until January 10th. Spin Ins are held the last Thursday of every month, 10-4. Bring your wheel or whatever you are currently working on and something for the pot luck lunch table.

Sisters Yvonne Stowell (formerly of FibreWorks) and Marilynn Wiebe offer hand-dyed fibres, handspun yarns, handknitted wearables, quilts, fabric art and more in the Mark of the Hand Studio and at FibreWorks Studio & Gallery.
