Forget about felt being thick and stiff, softness and drape is the name of the game with these felted scarves.

Cobweb felting is a technique to make extra fine, light weight fabrics without the need of a premade fabric base. Only wool, soap, and water is used.

In this workshop, students will learn the basic how-tos of felting, as well as ways to combine and arrange different fibers for a variety of effects. We will then finish the scarves by dyeing them.
