My career included teaching high school Family Studies, pattern making, and costuming. An early retirement has afforded me more time to pursue my creative side.

I have always enjoyed making things. I knit my first sweater in the seventh grade and so began a lifelong love of fibre arts. The happiest hours of my day are spent surrounded by fibre, fabric and the beautiful nature of Pender Harbour which is a constant source of inspiration. Felting is a recent fancy but it incorporates my crafting skills and it has a fascinating array of applications.
