Alabaster, cream, eggshell, ivory, vanilla, fog, parchment, cloud, bone. . . Anyone confronted with choosing a white paint knows that white is rarely a pure thing. It is almost always imbued with colour of some kind. For artists, exploring the wide range of white while incorporating texture and pattern opens up a world of possibilities.
In this exhibition of textile and fibre based art, members of the Sunshine Coast Surface Design Group embrace the fullness of WHITE in unique and surprising ways.
