Explore the ancient technique of twining, traditionally used to create functional baskets with long and flexible fibers. In this three-to-four day workshop we will experiment with the possibilities of twining. Variations of the twining technique, shaping, and the use of non-traditional materials will all be considered.
Soft twining materials, waxed cotton, will be provided, but your unusual and experimental materials will be most welcome.
