Create your own basket materials with painted cotton paper – a wonderfully versatile and user-friendly material. Start weaving a gracefully footed cathead base. The basics, a beautifully formed basket, might be just what you want. You can go beyond and explore the possibilities of twill weaves, or create sculptural forms as you weave the sides, increasing and decreasing, learning the rules that can be adapted and broken.
This class is suitable for both beginning and more advanced makers.
