FibreWorks Studio & Gallery

Hosted in a collection of yurts, Fibre Works showcases fibre art – basketry, paper, textiles and wood , created by local, national and international artists. Explore our website and know more about our current and forthcoming workshops, ongoing exhibits and studio located in beautiful Madeira Park in Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada.

Yvonne welcomes the public to her studio with baskets of hand-dyed fibres, handspun yarns, and “in progress” blankets on the loom. Wearables and accessories entice the visitor to drape themselves with colours and textures.

Upcoming Workshop

This is a beginning needlefelting session – learning how to sculpt with the fibres; how to create armatures; how to build animals from different shaped parts.

These works are a collection of reflections and intuitions on the path to wholeness, peace, and inhabiting a world that supports the evolution of a wisdom-based culture.

A collection of fibre art showcasing local fibres or local dyes – in conjunction with 17th International Fibre & Fungai Symposium.
