FibreWorks Studio & Gallery

Hosted in a collection of yurts, Fibre Works showcases fibre art – basketry, paper, textiles and wood , created by local, national and international artists. Explore our website and know more about our current and forthcoming workshops, ongoing exhibits and studio located in beautiful Madeira Park in Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada.

Yvonne welcomes the public to her studio with baskets of hand-dyed fibres, handspun yarns, and “in progress” blankets on the loom. Wearables and accessories entice the visitor to drape themselves with colours and textures.

Workshops/Master Classes are presented by renowned artists, providing a hands-on opportunity to explore fibre art techniques

Upcoming Workshop

This workshop will be all about creating beautiful and meaningful textured pieces of handmade felt, using merino wool, silks and fabric.

With the “Four Elements” series, I am remembering how the ancients classified the material world around them, trying to understand creation, sometimes deifying their concrete world through their mythology.
