FibreWorks Studio & Gallery

Hosted in a collection of yurts, Fibre Works showcases fibre art – basketry, paper, textiles and wood , created by local, national and international artists. Explore our website and know more about our current and forthcoming workshops, ongoing exhibits and studio located in beautiful Madeira Park in Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada.


Yvonne welcomes the public to her studio with baskets of hand-dyed fibres, handspun yarns, and “in progress” blankets on the loom. Wearables and accessories entice the visitor to drape themselves with colours and textures.


Workshops/Master Classes are presented by renowned artists, providing a hands-on opportunity to explore fibre art techniques

Upcoming Workshop

This two-day session will teach you the basics of preparing the needles for weaving and weaving the traditional round and oval basket forms.


Edge of the Forest is an exciting exhibition of textile art by 53 artists from across Canada who are members of the Surface Design Association.

The reworked quilt is symbolic of transition and paradox. Once soft, now stiff and scratchy. Once a quilt – what is it now? Quilt/Not Quilt?
